2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Review, Price
The all new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is finally here. This plug-in hybrid is both eco-friendly and a serious SVU. Although it was planned to be released in 2018, it is already being sold and pre-ordered in Europe. It can now also be pre-ordered in North America. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander itself has few changes. The design appears almost identical to its predecessors.
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Review
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander the exterior reminds us of a combination between the previous Outlander models and the Pajero. The re-design shows with the chrome details in the front and rear. Those small details make the Outldander stand out from the previous models. It has 18″ alloy wheels, privacy glass for the rear and an option of metallic or pearlescent paint finish. As any SVU, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is a large car. It is approximately 15 feet 5 inches long, 5 feet 11 inches wide and 5 feet 7 inches high. The design is sleek and elegant making it a beautiful city car with the power to go anywhere.
The interior has full leather seats with a black leather trim. The front seats are heated and can be fully reclined. All 5 seats come with 3 point seat-belts. It also has a gloss-black dashboard trim and a leather steering wheel. The car also has plenty of gadgets. For example, you can start heating your car using your smart phone. The Mitsubishi Outlander also has a PanEuropean navigation system, USB slot, is compatible with an iPod and much more. All of these instruments are standard. The drawback is that unlike the previous models, it comes with seating for 5. A whole row of seating had to be removed for the electric motor.
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Engine
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander this motor has earned its space in the car. Not only does it charge the 2.0 engine, but it does so at 156.9 miles per gallon (or 1.8 liters/100km). That is the average use, it uses no fuel at all when the battery is fully charged. When the battery is at minimum charge, you get 51.4 miles per gallon (or 5.5 liters/100km). It takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge a 16amp supply, or about half an hour to reach 80% charge. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander’s 2.0 engine boasts 119 bhp. It reaches a maximum of 106 miles per hour (170km/h), a far cry from the first electric motor cars. It also goes from 0 to 62mph in 11 seconds. In other words, it’s a strong 16-valve, 4 cylinder engine.
