The 2018 Hyundai Equus is slated to be the third generation of full size limousine from the South Korean automobile manufacturer’s stable. It will be aptly named the G90 in foreign markets but will retain the moniker EQ900 in its home market. It will be released under Genesis Motors which is the luxury division of Hyundai Motors.
2018 Hyundai Equus Interior and Exterior Details
In the interior of the 2018 Hyundai Equus, the center console has been completely overhauled and has the inclusion of great high quality materials. There will be cleverly designed shift paddles incorporated on the steering wheel of the 2018 Equus. The 2018 limousine will also feature an optional all-wheel drive system designed to improve the vehicles handling and maneuverability.
The 2018 Hyundai Equus will have a plush and luxurious interior further complemented by the leather upholstery and timber veneer. The seats will be covered in soft cream buckskin leather material intertwined with contrast piping. An integral stylish and elegant wood trim will be part of the classy 2018 Hyundai Equus interior and will be complemented with metallic accents. The rear seat-backs will also feature wood and metallic trims and will have additional heating and ventilation facilities to add to the already comfortable feel of the South Korean limousine. The dashboard will feature a user friendly infotainment system with a widescreen display and a state of the art Lexicon surround sound audio system.
The luxurious sedan will be available in a four door full sized version and will be able to comfortably seat four average size adults. Adjustable rear link suspensions will be an integral part of the limousine and have been developed in conjunction with Lotus. The overall look of the vehicle is stylish in a subtle way and has a simple front fascia with chrome trimmings. The tires have classy all alloy multi spoke rims with a polished finish.
2018 Hyundai Equus Engine and Performance
The 2018 Hyundai Equus will be powered by a 5 liter V8 engine that will be capable of churning a massive 420 brake horse power (bhp) with an amazing torque of 383 lb. The transmission will be an 8 speed automatic affair in conjunction with an optional all-wheel drive system. A 10 speed automatic transmission will be in the offing in the near future. The limousine will have an estimated combined fuel consumption of about 25 to 30 mpg.
2018 Hyundai Equus Release Date and Price
The 2018 Equus will have an estimated starting price of US $ 61,500 and will have a price tag of US $ 94,400 in the United States. The 2018 Hyundai Equus is slated to be released in early 2017, possibly in April.
