The 2018 Dodge Charger is a luxurious automobile adopting a pleasant sedan platform. It will be offered in three separate trim levels of SXT, SE, and R/T. There will be revisions on the overall exterior and interior design with an enhanced powertrain. Although its release date is still quite far, the car has already started gaining popularity among its customers.
2018 Dodge Charger Exterior and Interior Design
The 2018 Dodge Charger adopts a completely new exterior body styling. Unlike all the other previous models, it will adopt a larger nose. This is the most prominent exterior revision that has been added by the automaker and will make it look more trendy and sportier. The classic sparkling metallic surface will further enhance luxury for this Charger.
The new 2018 Dodge Charger will ride on 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels while the hood will be longer than the current one. The grille will be revised adopting a larger rectangular design. The LED headlights will further enhance the sporty and elegant look, thanks to their smooth curving around the edges.
2018 Dodge Charger will adopt a pretty luxurious and comfortable designing in its interior. This will be enhanced by the spacious stylish cabin that is capable of accommodating up to 5 adult passengers. The base model will feature synthetic leather upholstering on the seats while the premium trim levels will adopt finer upholstering both on the seats and the steering wheel.
The infotainment system will adopt the latest and most sophisticated features like a premium six-speaker stereo audio system featuring satellite radio, USB ports, Bluetooth wireless phone and audio connectivity. All these features will be controlled from an 8.4-inch display touchscreen. Other standard features are dual automatic climate control and driver assist and safety systems such as traction control, lane detection, collision warning system, navigation control, multiple airbags among others.
2018 Dodge Charger Engine and Performance
Under the hood, there are two engine options that will power the new 2018 Dodge Charger. The base engine will be 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine which will be mated the current five-speed automatic transmission or a new 8-speed gearbox. Whether eight-speed or five-speed transmission, they will send power to the standard rear-wheel drive or all- wheel drive (AWD). This powertrain will be available for SXT, SE and R/T versions and will deliver up to 370 horsepower. The second optional and more powerful engine will be a 6.1 liter HEMI V-8 engine which is capable of generating up to 640 horsepower. Both the base and optional powertrains will deliver pleasant fuel mileage than its predecessor.

The 2018 Dodge Charger will either be released towards the end of 2017 the exact release date is still pending confirmation from the manufacturer. It will cost around $39,000 for the base trim.
