The Aston Martin GB9 is a grand tourer which was introduced in 2004. It was the first car to be built at Gaydon Plant in the United Kingdom. The DB abbreviation in Aston Martin DB9 stems from David Brown who was the honor of the company from 1947 to 1975. The model was designed by Henrik Fisker and Ian Callum. It will be a riveted and bonded construction which will be flexible enough to form the base of other upcoming models. The company has decided to design the structure internally instead of sharing any of the structure from AMG GT, although two companies are long term partners.

The brand new frivolous suspension will be also be designed and it will also have two brand new forked bones at the front and the rear. Some heavier parts are also expected to be removed from the European brand. As far as the external dimensions are concerned, they will be taller than the previous models by a couple of inches. Although the company has not yet revealed the engine options, it is believed that the new 2018 Aston Martin DB9 will be equipped with a brand new V8 engine with the capacity of 4.2 liter. This engine has been used in Mercedes-AMG GT but is finely modified to produce maximum power output that ranges from 458 Horsepower to 510 Horsepower. Another possible option will be a V13, 5.10-liter twin turbo engine which has been designed to reduce the nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide emission. With these engines, the Aston Martin DB9 is expected to attain the speed of 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4 seconds with the top speed of 190 miles per hour.
